I love writing at $5 Dinners. I post our family's meal each night with a cost breakdown. I make wholesome "from scratch" meals and love providing healthy food for my family. My readership has pretty much been on a steady exponential increase since the start in late August 08. I have just started monetizing in the past 2 weeks, and am glad I have started that! It's nice to get a little return on "my time investment"! I was featured on the local news here last week, and will likely have another opportunity before Thanksgiving, and possibly a regular spot on their morning show.<BR/>I've been on Blog Coach before, but am finding it especially helpful now that things are getting "more serious"! I am enjoying my new "career"! I loved it. I have done very well in the past three months. Thanks to logical media, my savings, adsense I have been able to make a little bit of money. i was actually turned down for Blogher ads. But for good reason because I am now with Real Girls Media and I am very happy with them. They are nice and friendly and were quick to turn on the ads on my site. I was recently featured in my local newspaper. I have been trying to get on Milwaukee newspaper. But no luck on that yet.<BR/>For the near future I would like to expand my readership. I am trying to reach the hispanic market and I am working with Walmart for that. I also want to set a daily income goal. It would be nice to be able to save more for retirement. I can't believe I am actually making money now. Blog Her and Coupons.com have been my most profitable so far. I just signed up with Logical Media and am happy with them. And once I switched my google ads from text to images I have seen an increase in those too.<BR/><BR/>I have had limited press so far, but did appear on a local NBC station a few weeks back, and will be doing that again next week. I'm very excited!<BR/><BR/>I never dreamed that I would have the experiences that I have had when starting this blog on Jan. 1.
